DICKERSON, Mary Alice, age 68, of Saxe, died on Thursday, September 25, 2008. She is survived by four children, Donna D. Tharpe (Dale), Michael W. Dickerson, Wanda D. Powell (Mike), Lisa D. Daniel (Roger); one brother, Charles Dickerson; one sister, Joyce Lee; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. and Floris Lipscomb Dickerson. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Browning Funeral Home, with interment in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning Funeral Home on Saturday, September 27, 2008, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning Funeral Home in Keysville is in charge of the arrangements.

Donna, Mike, Wanda, Lisa & their families. Joyce and Charles. So sorry to hear the passing of Your mother and sister. Her suffering is over and she is with the Lord. Love, memories and time will heal the heart and soul. Peace is a wonderful thing and I hope in time all is well with thee. Tommy and I were sick & still sick with the flu and sorry we could not attend the funeral but Our prayers and sympathy were with you all. Much Love to each of you and God Bless.
