Vicki Suzanne Dickerson passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Tyler, TX, at the young age of 53. After a long battle with cancer since 2022, Vicki went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening.
Vicki was born on September 15, 1972, in Mineola, TX, to Sammy Tiner and Sandra Tiner. Vicki graduated from Mineola High School in 1991 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1994. She started her career as an accountant at TXDOT in September of 1995 and went on to work for 27 years before she retired in March of 2022.
Vicki married Nathan Dickerson on February 12, 1995, in Mineola. The couple met at John Deere and began dating during Vicki's senior year of high school. The couple went on to have 1 daughter, Lauren Dickerson, born in January of 2005.
Vicki was best known for her dedication to the Lord. She was a devout Christian and was a member of First Baptist Mineola for over 50 years. She was always kind and willing to give to anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and others who knew her.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Nathan Dickerson of Mineola; daughter, Lauren Dickerson of Mineola; mother, Sandra Tiner of Mineola; and father-in-law, Doug Dickerson of Grand Saline, along with many more nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Sammy Tiner of Mineola; baby brother, Jeffery Tiner of Mineola; and mother-in-law, Ethel Dickerson of Grand Saline.
Memorial donations can be made in Vicki's name to My Faulty Gene in commemoration of her fight against cancer.
