DICKERSON, Mable R., 88, of Highland Springs, was called home by the angels Tuesday, September 30. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James R. Dickerson; daughter, Doris Owens; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Joyce Bolton and husband, Ray, Betty Weaver and husband, J.D., Jimmy Dickerson and wife, Dale, Juanita Luck and husband, Eugene, Rose Marie Robeson and husband, Harold; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was a retired LPN and member of New Bridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, and Friday, October 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 501 W. Nine Mile Rd. (between Cedar and Beech), Highland Springs, where a service will be held Saturday, October 4, at 1 p.m., with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Henrico Rescue Squad, 5301 Huntsman Rd., Sandston, Va., or Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 86, Highland Springs, Va. 23075.
