LOVELACE, Jean Perry, 79, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2008 at Henrico Doctors' Hospital. Born in Danville on October 24, 1928, she was preceded in death by her husband, James N. "Jim" Lovelace. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lovelace Francis and her husband, Jerry; her son, Perry Lovelace and his wife, Derenda; granddaughters, Kris Francis Martin (Tim) and Denise Francis Gunderson (Jeremy); grandsons, Jeff Francis (Cristina), Sean Lovelace and Shane (Nick) Lovelace; great-grandsons, Jess Curry, Joey Saucier and Gage Gunderson; great-granddaughter, Grace Gunderson. Graveside services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, in Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The National Kidney Foundation of Virginia, 5001 W. Broad St., Richmond, Va. 23230, or the Richmond Animal League, 11401 International Dr., Richmond, Va. 23236. Arrangements by the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Parkway.
