Mr. Whitehead & family, I just learned about Jackie passing and it was such a shock. I worked with Jackie at the VA before leaving in 1991. She was very kind and had a gentle soul. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Whitehead. She was our next door neighbor when I was growing up and I remember her fondly. She got me a summer job one year at MCV and used to come give me allergy shots. So very sorry for your loss.

Beth,
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Do not stand by my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am a diamond glint on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning bush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight
I am the soft starshine at night
Do not stand by my grave and cry
I am not there... I did not die.

On behalf of the choir at St. Michael's Church, I wished to express our deepest sadness that we will no longer have the privilege of having Jackie in our midst. We are heartened with the knowledge that she is now singing with the angels.
Please know that we will never, ever forget her and her sweet smile!
