Joseph Vassar Holland

HOLLAND, Joseph Vassar, 76, of Chesterfield County, passed away at home on October 4, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Holland was the former owner of Holland-Wilbert Vault Service. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bobby Carr Holland; three children, Deborah Holland Nester and her husband, Ken Nester, of Prince George County, James Andrew Holland and his wife, Kimberly S. Holland, of Bon Air and Margaret Ann Holland of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Craig C. Nester, Amanda R. Holland, Kendyl L. Nester, Katherine H. Nester, Kate E. Holland, Jacob A. Holland and Madeline B. Bailey; and his sister, Linda B. Adkins. Mr. Holland spent many happy hours with his friends at Burger King. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 10, at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Parkway. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
