I just found out about Marshall's death today. I will always remember his kindness and generous spirit. He had a tender spirit and I will treasure his friendship in years gone by for many years to come.
I am sure all of us feel like the world is a little more empty because of his death.
He will be in my heart forever.

Marshall was a kind person, a true friend and a great neighbor; he took such great care of my grandmothers yard over the years (Ann Cross) and always had a smile and kind words. I will never forget him or the way he lived his life. I loved ya like a brother and I'm not sure you ever really knew how special you were!! Mitch and I just found out today and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and Ann. You are too young to be gone but may you now have everlasting piece and I will see you again in heaven for I know you're smiling your way through, say hello to my Papa.

It was such a pleasure knowing and working with you at the Va. Tax Department. We didn't see much of you after you left but when we did I enjoyed it so much. I am sorry you never got a chance to ride in the '64 Ford convertible that you admired so much, but maybe in the next life. God bless you.

In Loving Memory
He is a friend to remember,
a friend we love so much.
The memory runs through my mind
of the last time we touched.
He was always there to make you
laugh when your day was going wrong.
Where was he the day where we
had to say "so long?"
I wish there was some way
I could have said goodbye.
The thought of him runs through
my head as I look up in the sky.
Knowing he is looking down on us
with a smile on his face,
remembering the life he lived before
he left this place.
Live your life to the fullest
because it could end real fast.
Base your life on the future,
but keep memories of the past
I will always cherish our friendship.

Marshall you were a great friend and I shall miss you. We should all remember that for those who believe in the Lord that there will never be a time when we are not together again. Rest peacefully my friend. DVS
