Mr. James “Jamie” Edward Knox, age 54, of 3566 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Union passed away suddenly, Friday, November 7, 2025.
Mr. Knox was born October 25, 1971, in Union, SC, a son of Mrs. Shirley Fox Norwood of Clinton, SC. He was a graduate of Union High School and of Spartanburg Community College. Mr. Knox was a long haul truck driver and was a veteran of the SC National Guard. He was also a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother, is a wife, Patty Berry Knox of Union, a son, Dillian James Knox of Spartanburg, a sister, Jennifer Nicole DeWalt of Mauldin and a brother, Brian Eugend Knox of Clinton. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Helen and James Puckett.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2025 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Ricky Cook. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM at the Chapel prior to the service. Mr. Knox will be buried at Rosemont Cemetery on Sardis Road, Union, following the funeral service.
