Betty Tabakin Levin

LEVIN, Betty Tabakin, formerly of El Campo, Texas, and Richmond, Va., died October 4, 2008 in Beaumont, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Levin; and daughter, Phyllis Lee Levin La Pine. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn Rae and Brian Duchin of Beaumont, Texas; son-in-law, Dennis La Pine of Brooklyn, N.Y.; grandchildren, Jeffrey Duchin and wife, Erin, of Dallas, Texas, Fivel, Avraham, Mira, and Soreh Hana La Pine of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sister, Hattie Shocket of Richmond, Va.; and nieces and nephews. A graveside service took place October 6, 2008 in Brenham , Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah or to a cause the donor selects.
