KELLY, Sgt. Leroy Leslie Sr., 77, of Richmond, Va., entered into eternal rest on October 3, 2008. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Margie McCann; and son, Dean Kelly. He is survived by a devoted companion, Mrs. Peggy C. Kelly. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Donald L. Lucas (Delores), Leroy L. Kelly Jr., Margaret E. Kelly, Maxine K. Blunt (Gerald) and Dalemarie Andrews (Allen); nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 East Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held on Thursday, October 9, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the March Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dr. Victor Davis officiating. Interment private.

To our Family,
We were sadden to hear of the passing of Leroy. His suffering is over and he has received his crown from our Heavenly Father. We know that you will miss him and it may be hard on your heart right now but try to remember that God had only loaned Leroy to us, to know, love and to learn from but God wanted him back home to give him his reward for a job well done. So when times get hard hold on to the memories and know that Leroy loved each of you and he is up there smiling down at you.
