My sympathy to the Martindale family. I knew Bobby from Thomas Dale High School and Garry from his early band days playing at the Satelite. They are all high energy and very talented with a great zeal for life.

HI. My name is Kristi Wynn. My husband and I met Bobby and Jerry last year in Reynolds, Ga at Silver Dollar Raceway. Though we only had the pleasure of meeting Bobby a few times, you knew instantly he had a heart of gold and a passion for racing. He's one of the kindest people I've ever met. He touched so many lives and will never be forgotten. To Bobby's Family, Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.Thom and Kristi Wynn

Our deepest symphathy to Geraldine and the Martindale Family. Having been friends with Bobby since highschool it will be hard to think of him no longer with us. We spent many great weekends at the strips along the East Coast back in the 60's & 70's. That's how we met Geraldine and realized the great bond between she and Bobby.
Life takes us all in different directions and so it was with this couple.
Their lives went on with with new families and friends through the years. Both had their share of family heartaches through those years and it was a special treat for Doris & I when we learned a few years back that these two teenage sweethearts had found each other again. The Lord works in special ways and allowing these two to spend their later years together was very special. We cherish their friendship all these many years and have peace in knowing Bobby went to be with the Lord doing what he so passionally loved (drag racing).
He will be greatly missed by his family and the many countless friends he made through the years.
Our Love and Prayers go out to the Markam and Martindale Families.

So very sorry to hear of Bobby's death. He and his cousin Robbie use to come to my house to see me and my sister Charlotte. We all went to Thomas Dale High School. We were just talking about Bobby and some of the nutty things we use to do. He was so much fun. I know his family and friends will miss him greatly.

My deepest sympathy to Geraldine and Bobby's family. Having worked with Bobby and been a friend for over 30 years, there was never a dull moment when he was around. No one was a stranger to him and he looked for the good in everyone. He sincerely loved life, his family, his friends, and racing. His time here was a true gift to all of us.

I am so sorry to hear of the tragic passing of Bobby. My heart goes out to Bobby's family and friends.

So many years ago during our Thomas High School Days, Bobby and my brother Dickie Kidd worked on cars together. He came to my brothers funeral back in 67'.

His fiance' Geraldine was also a great friend to our family and especially my sister Judy.

Bobby's daughter Nikki became a friend of my daughter before her tragic death. My daughter and I came to Nikki's funeral and that's the last time I saw and talked with Bobby.

It's really a small world and life is so precious.

Wish I could be there for the services. Please know I am there in heart and spirit. Sending my love and prayers to you all during this most difficult time.

May he R.I.P.
God Bless
