Guy Deaner Burns

BURNS, Guy Deaner, 85, of Chesterfield, left this world on Thursday, October 9, 2008. He was the son of the late Alma Deaner Burns. He was employed by DuPont as a Pipe Fitter and retired after 42 years of dedicated service at the age of 58. He was retired for 27 years and loved every minute of it. Guy was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving children, Gay Burns, Steven Burns and wife, Cathy, Susan Blakely and husband, Ron; grandchildren, Cameron and Cullen Burns; and last but not least, his loving cat, T-Bone. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home Sunday, October 12, 2008, from 2 to 4 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, October 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park Chester, Virginia.
