George Woodrow Russell Jr.

RUSSELL, George Woodrow Jr., age 70, a native of Richmond, Va., and a resident of Bogalusa, La., passed away on October 7, 2008 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, La. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1956. He traveled to Louisiana with Tidewater Construction Co. in 1962 and made his home in Bogalusa, La. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served aboard the USS Loeser. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Sr. and Mary Louis Bishop Russell. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Crenshaw Russell; one daughter, Julie Higgins (Richard) of Bogalusa; one son, Jeff Russell (Bridget) of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Gary, Mary Katelyn and Taylor Higgins, Anderson and Corbett Bishop Russell; one sister, Linda K. Russell of Richmond Va.; one brother, Eugene Russell (Kathy) of Varina, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews.
