Jane Blalock, wife of my mother's first cousin Burnal, was [along with her husband and Allie Blalock a dear friend to and of hers], was MY FAVORITE RELATIVE. SHE SAVED MY LIFE WHEN MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY, and she and Burnal are so very dear people. I didn't see enough of her,and the longer I waited between calls only made it harder to make them out of guIlt, but FOUR HOURS HAS NEVER PASSED THAT I DID NOT THINK OF THIS FINE LADY --how she enriched everyone's life. Burnal is so lucky to
have spent his time with her as she is and remains: PERFECT. HE DESERVED HER. I only hope she knows that I did and do still love her dearly.

Jane was a sweet woman that I met "at the river", while visiting my parents. I have many great memories of my Virginia vacations and I feel blessed that she is part of them. I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish I could have come down with my dad (Ron) & brother (Joe) and been there for her service.

Dear Family,
I know two people who will be rejoicing to see your Mom in Heaven. That would be my parents, Minnie and Eugene Pitts. We were neighbors when I was a baby and moved when I was five years old. I remember playing outside with Michael. When I think about living in Highland Park I always remember Ms. Jane and her family. Once I broke my arm and she held my arm and wiped my tears all the way to the hospital. My parents cared so much about her and her family. May God bring you peace and strength during this difficult time.

To my great loving friend and second mom to me. I can not express how much I will miss you and all of our e-mails and conversations. You were always there for me in times of need when I was growing up, something to eat or a ride just to the store. You will never be forgotten in my heart for all of your loving and nurturing ways and I only wish I could have said Good-Bye to you. I really loved you, but I think you always knew that. You rest now in peace and we will see each other again one day. I Love You. Melissa Morris & Family

In Loving Memory of my Mother and
my best friend. She was the best
ever and was loved by many. She
shared so much with everyone she
touched in her life. There are not
enough words to express my love for
my mother. I was very fortunate to
have shared my life with my mother.
She is in a better place now and at
peace. Love you momma and I will
miss you so much but one day we will
be back together again.
