HOROWITZ, Edith, age 91, of Richmond, passed away October 13, 2008. She was born in Boston, Mass. and resided in New York City for most of her life. A resident of Richmond for 15 years, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Horowitz. She was the beloved mother of daughters, Bonnie Henry and her husband, John, of Bridgewater, N.J. and Marlene Braytenbah and her husband, Drew, of Midlothian. She was a loving and proud grandmother of Robyn Smith and her husband, Brad, Adrienne and Brian Henry and Dana and Melanie Braytenbah. We shall miss her dearly, but rejoice and give thanks for the positive impact that she has had on our lives. The family will receive friends Friday, October 24, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull St. Rd. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bon Secours Hospice, 8580 Magellan Parkway, Richmond, Va. 23227.
