To the Davis, Woolridge and Branch family:
I'm sorry about the loss of our love one Nita. Thank God for the life of Nita! Nita was always a joy to be around. My sisters and I grew up with Ann and Nita on 32nd street and we considered them as family. It broke our hearts to hear the heartbreaking news but we know she is in a better place. Nita was always the same she never changed. Nita always had a wonderful and joyous spirit about her and I will always remember that. A beautiful spirit goes a long way. I thank God for that hug we gave to each other at my cousin Teddy's furneral not knowing that would be the last hug. 32nd Street won't be the same without you Nita! RIP NITA!

I would first like to give my condolences to Nita's family whom I didn't know with exception to Mikki. Nita had a light that was exceptional to say the least. Secondly to Nita's extended family, girls you know who you are: Although I am not there physically to grieve with you I am grieving all the same. She was always good and real to me even if it meant saying, "chile, get out my ear!" I miss you Nita. Thanks for touching my life and heart.

Its been really hard to accept this. For the last 8 years you have ALWAYS been a staple. I have never walked into a room at a family gathering and you not be there. We would laugh and yes gossip. I will truly miss that. You always new just what to say to get me laughing. I will miss hearing you say "Hey Miss Shana in all your flyness". But most of all I will miss that spark you brought to the family.

Thelma, I do not know the members of Nita's family but I do know you and you two were like sisters. You rarely see one without the other. She will be truly missed. But like that old hymn of the church says "we shall be changed from mortal to immortality in the twinkling of an eye". Thelma look toward heaven and you will find your sister there wrapped in the loving arms of Jesus. Remember, you will see her again as well as others one day.
