Marilyn J. Grosenick

GROSENICK, Marilyn J., 70, of Richmond, passed away peacefully this week on October 18, 2008, from a brief struggle with lung cancer. She is survived by her son, Chris Grosenick and his wife, Robin, of Midlothian; daughter, Heidi Hertzog of Cloquet, Minn.; five grandsons, Ryan, Brandon and Jordan Grosenick, Zach and Josh Hertzog; brothers, Ed, Richard and Jim Peek; sister, Susan Paukert; also nieces, nephews and cousins; and special family of Scott and Mary Jarvis Futrell and their children, Mary Elizabeth, Patrick, Isaac and Christian. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 3:30 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd. Interment will be where she spent most of her life following a memorial service at the University of Minnesota in November. Dedicated to the well-being of the children of the world, Marilyn will be smiling if, instead of flowers, donations were made to the Children's Hospital of Richmond, St. Jude Children's Hospital or a charity which cares in any way for children.
