Wilhemenia Elizabeth "Betty" Janosko

JANOSKO, Wilhemenia Elizabeth "Betty," of Richmond, Va., widow of Lt. Col. William Emil "Bill" Janosko, peacefully passed on to eternal life Wednesday, October 22, while comfortably resting in her longtime Henrico home. Betty has now joined her husband, Bill; mother and father, Wilhemenia Elizabeth and Richard Fox McDonald; two older sisters, Lucille Laverne and Lenora Haile McDonald; and grandchildren, Molly Wilson Tanner and William Emil Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Haile Wilson; a son-in-law, Robert Church Wilson III; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered as a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, always willing to serve others. Her fun sense of humor, constant strength of mind, and wonderful cooking skills will all be cherished in memory. The family will receive friends 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8520 Staples Mill Road, where services will be held 2 p. m. Saturday. Interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia.
