OAKLEY, Jane Faris, 77, of Emporia, died Thursday, October 23, 2008. She is survived by three sons, Bob Oakley and wife, Victoria, of Richmond, Barry Oakley and wife, Vickie, of Triplet and Tony Oakley and wife, Dee, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; four grandchildren, Chase Oakley of Lawrenceville, Erica Oakley, Cody Oakley and Logan Oakley, all of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; one brother, Thurston Faris and wife, Jean, of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and two sisters, Bettie Williams and husband, David, of Emporia and Peggy Phelps and husband, Jimmie, of Jarratt. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (tonight) at Owen Funeral Home, Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held graveside 11 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
