Judy and Charlie,

The love I have felt for your mother for 30 years is neverending. I can still hear her laughter and feel her warmth and kindness. The world is a better place for her being here.

Hey Liz, are your knobs tuned in? (private joke between Liz and I.) I guess you finally found your pocket as well.

We all loved and admired Liz so much and was glad to have her as a family member. We looked forward to Lynwood and Liz coming to Roanoke for all the good times we had. We will always cherish those memories and we loved her so much. Our sympathy goes out to the family and we know you will miss her as we will here in Roanoke. With all our love and prayers. Although I knew Liz as Jan's mom for a long time, she was a great friend to me in the later part of her life. I considered her a substitute mom when my mom passed away and just speaking with Liz brought me comfort. She was kind enough to share stories with me of the Thompson family whom she was related to. My good friend Carolyn Thompson (who has also passed on) was in that family and Liz knew her Dad well. I have fond memories of both of these special women. My thoughts are with all of Liz's family.
