To my dear Cousin Joyce:

My heart is deeply saddened by your untimely transition into eternal life. I will always remember your quiet disposition and warm welcome whenever we would see each other. Little did I know that homecoming at Union Baptist Church on August 24th would be the last time I would see you on this side. Nevertheless, I look forward to seeing you on that great getting up day! Sleep on and take your rest.

To Melba, Linda, Jackie, Mary, Lonnie, Michael and all the other relatives and friends: Remember that "earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Sorrow may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

With love and tender thoughts,
Your cousin
