Dear Jane, Ann & Family,
We were so sorry to hear about Joe. He was such a kind and cheerful man. Our family and yours have been through some good and bad times together, including selling my mother's house. You were so helpful and then Clint & Ann being homesick at Tech. Love to all of you.

Jane, I was absolutely devastated to hear of Joe's passing. He was a good friend and '58 BHS classmate. Working with Joe on the various reunions and playing golf with the BHS bunch brought us closer together in recent years. I know that words are so inadequate at times like these but please know that you and your dear family are in our thoughts and prayers. We are presently in Florida and unable to attend the service but we will be with you in spirit.

Dear Jane and children, I'm so sorry about Joe. As soon as he first saw you he always had that big smile, always glad to see you, even when I only saw him for a moment at DaveMac's funeral. And when he talked to you he was so intrested in what you were doing. He will really be missed.
