Virginia Wuest Obituary

WUEST, Virginia Cross, widow of William L. (Jim) Wuest, died peacefully in her home October 25, 2008 at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lola White Cross and John N. Cross; and a nephew, Ralph E. Mills Sr. She is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews; a special great-niece, Lara Mills Brown and husband, David; and a special great-nephew, Ralph E. Mills Jr. and wife, Shelli; three special great-great-nephews, Seth, Mason and William Mills; great-great-niece, Jessica Peters; a caring and helpful nephew Charlie Mills; four special cousins, Kathy Morton, Kaye Wisman, and Hugh and Will Hawthorne; sisters-in-law, Anna Wilhite and Doris Davis, both of Ashland, Jean Dorin of Kembridge, Va., Katherine Barnett of Richmond, and Judith Wuest of Colorado. Our thanks to Hospice service and good care provided by Catherine Brooks and Jean Tate. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Independence Christian Church, 14023 Independence Rd., where she was a lifelong member. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church general fund in her memory.
