KRAUSS, Jean Hoyt, 51, of Hartford, Connecticut, died September 26, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Krauss and Elrie Moore Krauss of Williamsburg, Va. She is survived by three sisters, Karen F. Marcus and her husband, Boyd, of Richmond, Va., Jerri A. Krauss of North Haven, Conn., and Martha M. Krauss of Middletown, Conn.; one brother, Robert "Mac" Krauss of Virginia Beach, Va.; three nieces, Courtney F. Wilson and her husband, Chris, of Nazareth, Pa., Sarah and Katherine Krauss of Martinsville, Va.; four nephews, Ryan Frazier, Randy Marcus and Tripp Marcus, all of Richmond, Va., and Chris Marcus of Alexandria, Va.; two great-nephews, Connor and Camden Wilson of Nazareth, Pa. She attended the Oak Hill School for the Blind and graduated from The Riverview School in Sandwich, Mass. A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind, 1039 S. Rochester Rd., Rochester, Mich. 48307. Arrangements by Bliley's-Central.
