Twelve years, I miss you and Daddy everyday! We are trying to be the light you taught us to be. So many in this world don't have the guidance and examples we did and we have to share to make this a better place and show God's love. Looking forward to completion of and the excellence of the projects (smile). With eternal love, Hannah

Saturday, October 24, 2009 marked one year since my mother's death. It has been a year of emotional ups and downs but mostly of my trying to find my place in this world without my mother. I had hoped for a day of quiet and relaxation, a day of reflection. Instead the entire weekend was extremely busy and now upon reflection, I realize I was doing what my mother would have been doing, taking care of family and friends. I am thankful daily for all that my parents did for me. Mostly teaching me what is really the substance of life! I LOVE YOU!

This has been a jouney for me. I truly miss my mother. Each day that passes, I realize what a remarkable woman she was and against the odds all the she and my father accomplished. I am sad today but I know she has now rested from this world of strife. Thank you Mommie for everything, mostly the insight on what is truly important in this life. I love you!
