Frances Yuan Obituary

YUAN, Frances Chapman, 73, of Richmond, passed away on October 29, 2008. She was born in Richmond on September 30, 1935. Frances attended John Marshall High school in Richmond. She retired from Bell Atlantic after many years of service. Survivors include three children, Brenda Parsley of Chester, Anthony Loflin of Richmond, and Valerie Loflin of Richmond; stepson, Kai-Tai Yuan, who is currently serving in the U.S. Army; sister, Elsie Henley of Gloucester; brother, John Chapman of Richmond; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Laburnum Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. the following day at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
