Still remember Kirk after meeting him in Germany. Still have a copy of a letter he sent to me while I was stationed at the 8th Radio Research Unit in the Republic of South Vietnam. He said he just did not understand why I would volunteer for that duty!

Kirk was a great guy! I remember when we met serving together in Zwiebrucken, Germany. He was a gracious amiable guy that was always a pleasure to know and assoicate with. We had some good times together when we were on pass together. I only regret that I was not able to see him before he passed away. My best regards and condolences to his loved ones

So sorry to hear of Kirks passing.
I met him briefly in 1969 while I attended college at JMU. He was such a gentleman and I also met his parents in Waynesboro.
God bless the Ring family.

Nancy - Cheryll & I were saddened to hear of Kirks's passing. We will always remember the good times we had with the Koi club and we will think of Kirk when we see Bermuda swimming in our pond.

Nancy, So sorry to hear about Kirk's passing and the battle he endured. I have not had the chance to meet you but went to High School with Kirk in Camden and had the pleasure of speaking with him a couple of times since coming to Virginia after retiring from the Service. He suffers no more and we will celebrate his life and mourn his passing. I will always have fond memories of him. Best to you and yours.

Nancy we are so sorry you must suffer this heartbreak. We thank you for taking time to call and share the sad news. We loved and admired Kirk so much; yes he was a devoted teacher and mentor to so many in his profession. Even while suffering the last two years he continued to teach us all by example; his fight, faith and attitude to endure his illness; he set such a heroric example to follow! God bless you and the family; Bob & Fran

Nancy,
Kirk helped me a lot with my fish pond, just down the road at the corner of Sherbrook and Weyburn; he was the first one I went to for advice. I will miss him. May God grant you strength.

Deep Sorrow for the family's loss. Kirk what a guy... There are not enought words to discribe what a wonderful human being we had with us. Kirk helped Debra and I find our home. I will miss the family outings we participated in and will forever miss our trivia chats about the pure love of [50's-60's] music we shared... I will always cherish the CD Kirk burnt for me a few years ago. I play it often.
Right now one of those songs from that CD is in my head.
Louis Armstrong's "What a wonderful world" And I think to myself... ___ _ ______ _____...
Life will go on, but just like the song without the lyrics... the world's just not the same without Kirk!!
Nancy... you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Nancy: I am so sorry to learn of Kirk's passing. I was JUST thinking about the two of you the other day when folks from your office came to the Northern Neck for a day on the water (I live very close to where all of us had spent the day) and I remember talking with Kirk while on our boat. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
