WILSON, Jessie Franklin, 92, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Frederick C. Wilson and Virgie Baskett Wilson. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth W. Olmstead, Frances W. Hawkes and Margaret W. Crafton. Miss Wilson is survived by her sister, Muriel W. Williams of Raleigh, N.C.; two nieces, Carolyn O. Little and Vivian O. Shoaf, both of Mechanicsville; three nephews, Robert F. Olmstead of Mechanicsville, Earl Hollins Jr. of North Carolina and Frederick Hawkes of Florida; and many great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1925 Grove Ave., Richmond, Va. 23220. The family would like to give their sincere thanks to Manor Care Imperial Plaza and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care.
