Jane Ann Phillips

PHILLIPS, Jane Ann, age 77, of Chester, Va., died on Monday, November 10, 2008. She was born in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Edwin and Mary McTaggert Steele. Ms. Phillips was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Phillips. Ms. Phillips is survived by her loving daughters, Marybeth Phillips of Powhatan, Va. and Cindi Bullard and husband, Bud, of Mechanicsville, Va.; a granddaughter, Lauri Talley and husband, Otis, of Mechanicsville; and two great-grandchildren, Sierra and Nikolas Talley. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. The family will receive friends at St. Ann's Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions are made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Services are being conducted by the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T.
