After seeing you this morning...I am at a loss for words. I thought of you and Zarren often as I participated in MDA events. I am so sorry that I wasn't there. please know that I will continue my fight to help find a cure.......it may be too late for Zarren and my Rebecca but it will happen. Hello Zarren's Mom & Sis,
I want to let you know that I indirectly know Zarren through his wonderful Auntie in Maryland. She had talked about him often and has shown photos as well. Zarren had fought a good fight here on Earth and now he is rejoicing and has received his crown in heaven. I know that you will have some challenging days, but be of good courage and God will see you through. Go ahead and cry if you have to and remember God will be there to bring joy in the memories you have of Zarren.

I was so happy to see you and Zarren on the cover of the "Caregiver" insert a couple of weeks ago. So it was with great shock and sadness that I heard the news of Zarren's death today. Please know that if I had heard sooner, I most certainly would have been at Children's on Tuesday. Zarren was always a character, along with his buddy Erik. I want to let you know how sorry I was to hear that Zarren had passed away. I never met Zarren but I know from your conversations that he was a special child. I know that there is a great emptiness in your heart and life now but I pray that with God's guidance that you are able to go on and rejoice in the times that you had with him. I remember that you once told me that when he was born the doctor's said he wouldn't live past 3 years old but just look at all the years you had to enjoy him before God called him home.
