Lucille Picard Obituary

PICARD, Lucille S., age 82, of Chesterfield, Va., passed away Monday, November 10, 2008. She was born January 10, 1926 in St. Gregoire, Quebec. She is survived by her loving husband, Reginald Picard; a daughter, Brigette Picard of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Daniel Picard of Point Pleasant, N.J.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Whitaker and husband, Chris, Rachel and Forrest Gardner; one great-grandchild, Madison Whitaker; a brother, Rene Brousseau and wife, Nicole; a sister-in-law, Francine Lecompte; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Chesterfield, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a Funeral Mass following at 12 p.m. A private cremation will take place at a later time. The family is being served by the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son, where condolences to them may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Although we had lost touch in someways, I will always remember you for the wonderful aunt you were to me all those years long ago. Although not really blood relatives, I always thought of you and uncle Reginal as family. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. You will be missed. Not to worry uncle Reginal will be well taken care of I'm sure.

P.S. I hope you get to see Dad & Frenchie & say hi from all of us.

Maman, I will miss you so very much,your passing has been a profound loss to me.Heaven has gained an angel,we have lost one..I was with you in the end and will remain with you till my end then we can meet again to catch up..We will watch over daddy as I promised you we would. RIP my sweet maman. I will forver miss you..A part of me died with you.

Regie and family, we had great memories of Moman...even my kids, they remembered how great she was, her cooking, Donald and Ellen remember when we went dancing at the Knight of Columbus and Donald dance with her; when Claude fell on the drummer's drums....Great memories...
