STEWARD, Samuel P.B. III, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Richmond, Virginia, was called home on October 23, 2008. He was the son of the late Samuel Steward Jr. and Mildred Morton Steward Carter. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Tiffany and Taylor; mother, Mildred Carter (Reverend Joseph Carter); brother, William (Dorothy); aunt, Edythe Edwards; cousin, William Edwards (Gwendolyn); devoted cousin, Lorene Bacon (Cecil); father-in-law, Ernest Riddick (Lillian); sister-in-law, Corliss Riddick; brother-in-law, Ronald Riddick (Lendora); and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1720 Mechanicsville Pike, Richmond, Va. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Sickle Cell Disease Association of America Inc., 109 Governor Street, Richmond, Va., 23219 or Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1720 Mechanicsville Pike, Richmond, Va., 23223. The family is being assisted by Rainey's Funeral Home.
