John Wolf Obituary

WOLF, John M., of Goochland, died November 7, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Lloyd Wolf of Taft, Texas. He attended Shefield High School in Alabama, graduating in 1945. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946. John attended Auburn University in Alabama, receiving a degree in Business Administration in 1951. He was a member of American Legion Post #215, past Master of Tuckahoe Masonic Lodge #347, an employee of Reynolds Metals in Richmond for over 30 years. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Goochland, Va., where he served on the Vestry and was an usher. John is survived by Mrs. Stephanie Wolf; stepdaughter, Melinda Roberts; and grandchildren, Travis, Ryan, and Emily Rae; one brother, Tim Wolf and family of Texas; and one cousin, Virginia Nagle. Memorial services and interment will be held at Grace Episcopal Church at 3 p.m. November 19, 2008. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Masonic Home of Virginia. The family is being assisted by Norman Funeral Home.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day

Only remember me; you understand
