Ethel Conner Giles

GILES, Ethel Conner, 80, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2008. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James E. "Pee Wee" Giles; and son, James E. Giles Jr. Surviving are her devoted grandson, Christopher L. Giles; son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Lee and Gayle Giles; granddaughters, Tammy L. Trail, Chelly L. McDaniel and Angela G. Francis; nine great-grandchildren, especially, Cheyenne L. Giles; and three great-great-grandchildren. Her family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
