Dear Frances and family, We are sorry for your loss. I looked out of our window at home today (I was home sick) and saw the people gathering at the church. I found out it was for George's service. What a testimony to his life well-lived to see all of his family and friends gather in support of you all in the celebration of his life! As I watched the procession of loved ones leaving the church to go to the cemetery to say those last earthly good-byes, I smiled knowing that the "hellos" in eternity are what we all are looking forward to and seeking every day! May God bless you with that peace that passes all understanding. Love and prayers,
Paul and Jean Jones,Sandston, VA

Frances,
I've only gotten to be like one of your family for such a short time. Both you and George just adopted me right in. I will miss him greatly, but I will be here for you. I love you dearly! Cecelia

Patty & Family Members of Mr. Shumaker: I met Mr. Shumaker as a fellow dialysis patient. He was a wonderful, fun gentlemen. He often talked about you, Patty, after he discovered that I had worked with you at DOE. We will all miss him.

Nearly forty years of memories defy description. Our love relationship with the Shumakers began the day we moved to Sandston when Jim became Pastor of Sandston Church. It has never diminished and that's a miracle considering all our travels together! In fact, it has become stronger with the passing of years and will continue throughout eternity, thanks be to God through Jesus our Saviour. No doubt Jim is showing George the sights of Heaven and they are making plans for us to join them. Until then, Frances, my love for you and your family will continue. God Bless you and give you Peace.
