Roy Manley Daniels

DANIELS, Roy Manley, 68, of Richmond, went to the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 27, 2008. He is survived by two sisters, Sue Daniels and Dian Anderson; two brothers, John Daniels Jr. and David Daniels and his wife, Tammy. Roy is survived by his dearest cousin, Roy Lee Sanson and his wife, Brenda; and by his nieces and nephews, Deborah Daniels Dip, Randy Daniels, John Anderson and his wife, Joanna, Sarah Daniels, Diana Daniels, Mary Brooks, Tabitha Daniels, Rachel Daniels and Jason Daniels. Roy worked for Shoney's for 39 years, where he became a vice president. He loved Jesus, the Word, his work, and mostly the people surrounding him, his family, and his career. Roy will be dearly missed for he loved each one of us as if we were his very own. We are all better for knowing him. His family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday. Interment Dale Memorial Park.
