Eleanor Smith McGuire

McGUIRE, Eleanor Smith, age 86, of Wylliesburg, Va., died on Saturday, November 29, 2008. She was the widow of P. R. McGuire. She was the co-owner of McGuire Lumber Company and Valedictorian of Bluestone High School Class of 1938. Surviving are three children, Penny M. Lawson and husband, Ricky L. Lawson, Martha M. Wilson and husband, Ronald K. Wilson, William P. McGuire and wife, Sheri R. McGuire; three grandchildren, Richie L. Lawson and wife, Suzanne D. Lawson, Elizabeth H. Bishop and husband, Robert W. Bishop, and Robertson McGuire; one great-granddaughter, Samantha M. Bishop; one great-grandson, Seth C. Bishop; two stepgrandsons, Todd E. Wilson, Jason H. Wilson; and one sister-in-law, Nona M. Morgan. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008, in Wylliesburg Presbyterian Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home at all times. The Browning Funeral Home in Keysville is in charge of the arrangements.
