Melissa Ann Edwards

EDWARDS, Melissa Ann, 42, of Chesterfield, Va., passed away on December 1, 2008. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter and had a deep love for animals. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Colonial Heights. She was also a dedicated school mom. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Garland W. Edwards; children, Mikayla and Joshua Edwards, Trinity Perrine and husband, Terry, of Prince George, and Andrea Melton of Hopewell; stepchildren, Angela and Grant Edwards of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Karis and Kaden Perrine; mother, Colleen Moody of Hopewell; father, William Moody of Emporia; and sisters, Stephanie Smith of Cary, N.C., Leeanne Williams and Leslie Smith, both of Hopewell. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Colonial Heights or to your local S.P.C.A.
