May God bless you Nancy and Susan in your time of sorrow. I wanted to attend the Memorial Service, but due to the 6-hour drive and sickness in my immediate family, I wasn't able to attend. Mr. Berger was such a wonderful man to work for. I kept hoping to get back to Richmond to visit with him and my co-workers. It was truly a joy to work for such an intelligent, caring person. I really hated to leave my job when my husband was transferred to NC. Please know that you'll be in my prayers, especially during this holiday season.

What a blessing to have known "Mr. Berger" for the past 27 years! When we moved into our cul-de-sac, he and his family welcomed our family with opened arms.
I could almost always set my clock by the time Dick left each day for work or when I saw him doing his "warm-up windmills" on the golf path behind our houses before his morning run. I'm sure he's leading the pack in heaven on a quick jog to the first tee!
God bless this gentle giant of a man who always had a warm smile and a twinkle in his eye. We shall miss him.

I will miss you Dick. You were one of my favorite people to play golf with.

Mr. Berger was the father of my friend Susan. Tall, quiet, gentle, down-to-earth, honorable, and unassuming, Mr. Berger was truly the salt of the earth. I always had great respect for him.

I can hardly think of anything to say. Even tho we didn't see Burger often, we thought so much of him. We will hold our happy memories in our hearts.
