Published by Richmond Times-Dispatch on Dec. 4, 2008.
LUTZ, Anne Elizabeth "Betty" Walt, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2008, after a short illness, during which her family was at her bedside every day. She was a longtime resident of Radnor Township, Pennsylvania, and a member of Christ Church in Villanova. After her retirement as a customer service representative at Triangle Publications in Radnor, she moved to Richmond, Va., to be closer to her family, and where she volunteered at the Veterans Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Harry A. Lutz III, and his wife, Mary Ann, of Midlothian, Va., and Richard C. Lutz, his wife, Nancy, and their two daughters, Kelley and Haley, of Charlottesville, Va. She will be laid to rest next to her parents and brother at St. David's Episcopal Church in Wayne, Pa., at a future time. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations in her name be made to Fund #1002 Volunteer Services at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Medical Center, Richmond, Va.
