Deepest condolences to Gary's family.
I don't want to ramble on, but my memories of Gary are fond.
We were co-workers and fast became friends as he was so hospitable.
I'll never forget him as an incurable practical joker, but as an "example setter" in the workplace, their was none, I say none, better than Gary Robert Martin.
On a lighter note, we used to golf together, and he would speak to me about Barbara and how she was doing settling in New Kent and the challenges of her teaching job, he would always refer to his sons, as he knew I have two sons, and would offer welcomed advice.
I still tell stories to other friends about my friend who would only swear in German when he missed a three foot putt for par.
I'll miss and mourn you, pal, but in the meantime, I'll learn some German language for when we tee it up when we meet again.

I was shocked and saddened when I heard today of Gary's death. I so enjoyed his visits to my greenhouse and his smile was one of a kind. I will miss him. My prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
