Joyce Marie Hathcock

HATHCOCK, Joyce Marie, 71, of Goochland passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Joyce was a family woman, who loved to cook and share her life with others. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Creasy. Sh is survived by her husband of 55 years, James "Peewee" Hathcock; one son, William "Buster" Hathcock and his wife, Kathie; two daughters, Nancy Goodman and her husband, Charlie, Patricia Conwell and her husband, Barry; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Wesley Creasy; two sisters, Carroll Vaughan and Juanita Morris. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Beaverdam Funeral Home, 19370 Beaver Dam Rd., Beaverdam, Va. on Friday, December 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 6 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Community Church with the Rev. Byron Newman officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Community Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation or the Arthritis Foundation.
