I still think of Lou often. He and his family were extremely important to my life. I learned so much from both he and "aunt" Betty and I considered Janet and Karen sisters and still do to this day. I remember snow balls, Sunday dinners, hidden presents, flying erasures and so much more. He is truly missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Lou was always a wonderful person to work with - able, willing, and he always held his own in our talkative group at the Garden. He will be greatly missed.

I don't know where to begin to express my heartfelt sympathy to Betty, Janet, and Karen. When our paths crossed in the 1980's, you took me into your home and treated me with love, respect, and kindness just as any other member of your family. Lou and Betty taught me many lessons of life...and those will be treasured for my lifetime. My life was blessed because each of you were a part of it, and I am so sorry I did not learn of Lou's death until yesterday. Please know I am thinking of each of you and I hope you will also cherish the memories that you shared....they will bring great comfort in the days to come.
All my love,

I grew up across the street from the Weissbecker family. I played with Janet and Karen and our families had dinner often in each others homes. I got to observe for years what a great husband, father and neighbor Lou was. After my father died, Lou was kind enough to help my mother with her affairs for years. He and Betty have always been there for the Cash family. Lou was a wonderful man and will be fondly remembered in our hearts forever.

Lou and Betty have been friends and neighbors of our family for over 40 years. The Weissbecker family was like a second family for all of us. There are not words to express his loss to our blended family. We will miss you Von Drake.

To the loving family of Lou. I will greatly miss Lou. He was a wonderful addition to our volunteer Staff at Henrico; I treasured each Monday with him. The office will not be the same without Lou. He was a gift to everyone who knew him.

I have had the pleasure of working with Lou at Henrico County for the past 5 years. I will forever treasure all the conversations we shared about life and family and what an inspiration he was to us all. He so loved his wife and family, he made contributions to his community and an impression on all those who knew him. We are all better for having known him. I am wishing you, his family, peace in your hearts during this difficult time.
