Jim and Family,

My deepest sympathy to all of you. Doris was such a beautiful spirit. Whenever I came home and was at church, she always made a point to chat with me for a while; she had such a wonderful spirit. Hold on to your memories of Doris and hold on to God's unchanging hand; He will see you through these times of dispare.

To the Jones Family,
Your mother will be missed. She was such a regal woman. For the little time I knew her, she showed kindness to me that I will never forget and don't forget the orange salad (smile). God bless you and keep you.

To know her was to love her.
She had a beautiful smile and a warm and loving heart.
She had a special place in her heart for children especially those with special needs.
Find comfort in knowing that others care.
God be with you today, tomorrow and always.

Love,

To Jim, Patrick, and family,

I cannot begin to tell you how much I thought of Doris and how much she meant to me. She was a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend to me. In the years that we worked together it was obvious how much she loved the children she worked with and it became evident that this was her gift. I feel so sad about her passing but I will always remember what she told me when I lost my loved ones. She said to look at the lights and know that our loved ones now walk in the light. Doris loved and served the Lord with passion and we know she is now with Him. Heaven has one more beautiful light. Be comforted in knowing she is now with the Lord she loved and served so faithfully and know too that she so wonderfully touched so many lives. She will never be forgotten. Love, Loretta Gordon
