I am so sorry to hear of Jo Ann's passing. She was my school bus driver and my son's school bus driver. After I graduated from high school it was always a joy to see her again. She would give me a big HUG and remind me of my childhood.
God bless you all!

To The Family:
Hearing that one of my good friends had passed made me so sad. When I drove the bus, it was Jo Ann who gave me pointers on how to handle the students. Then when I became the Dispatcher, she was the first to encourage and support me and gave me the confidence that I could do the job. She would always bring me messages from Roy who would call and talk to me and tell me a joke, now I know they are together once again. It was an honor to know both your parents, and I will sincerely miss Jo. May GOD give you peace and comfort during this time and your memories be sweet. Cherish those memories for they will ease your pain.

I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Shiver was my sons' bus driver from K-12 and they challenged her many times. She kept a great attitude and a smile on her face through it all. I still think about her when I see the big yellow school buses coming down the road.
