Granny-
16.5 years ago, you left this lush realm to go live with our heavenly father. May he continue to soothe you and love you just as you are.
I miss you so much every day, and I wish I could have just one more day with you —a day to ask you all the questions, listen to all your stories and experiences, to hear your voice, to laugh and cry with you, but mainly for one more squeezy-hug.
Life is hard sometimes, and it is never fair. Your love for me was, and still is, unconditional and without boundaries. I know you are so proud of me and would tell me if you could. Remembering your love is easy, but acknowledging the pain of your absence is not, and I will forever be grateful for your love and protection.
Granny, I miss you dearly. Please continue to guide me from where you are to a life of fulfillment and contentment.

To Betty's family:
Betty was my best friend for nearly 15 years, and I am very thankful that she was in my life.
Over the years we had a lot of good times together and my mind is overflowing with the many memories.
Betty and I shared a love for animals and her support for St. Francis Humane Association is very much appreciated. Her devotion to Molly and her two kitties was so heartwarming.
Betty was a "no-nonsense gal" with a big heart, and she has a place in my heart forever.
My deepest sympathy goes to the family.
