BANNISTER, Janice Jepsen, beloved mother, of Highland Springs went home to the Lord on Monday, December 8, 2008. She was preceded in death by her son, Cory Scott Bannister; parents, Charles E. Jepsen Sr. and Dorothy T. Talley. She is survived by her husband, Martin Bannister; daughter, Debbie Bannister; sons, Troy Bannister, Brett Bannister; and her brother, Charles E. Jepsen Jr. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Nelsen Funeral Home 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, where services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2008. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bon Secours Hospice 8580 Magellan Pkwy., Richmond, Va. 23227.
