Lora White Carter

CARTER, Mrs. Lora White, 83, of Threeway, passed away on December 10, 2008. She was the widow of Laxter Carter and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Survivors are two sons, Lewis Carter and wife, Mary, of Threeway and Bobby Ray Carter and wife, Sarah, of Tappahannock; three grandsons, Ryan, Brandon and Dylan Carter; two great-granddaughters, Taylor and Reagan Carter; and a sister, Mabel Addington and husband, Harold, of St. Stephens Church; a niece, Crystal Burton; and a nephew, Jimmy Harold Addington. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Beulah Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening (Friday) at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, c/o Bay Aging, Inc., P.O.
