Michael was my best friend and a teammate of mine for years(soccer& Pool). He has always been a fierce competitor and a great friend. I cannot put into words how hard this loss is on me and family and friends. I will always be there for Ashley and Christian Riley, and make sure his son knows how much of a positive impact mike has had on so many of our lives...love you mikey J! RIP

to the johnson family,
i am truly sorry that i am so late writing this. However Mike and I went to high school together and what I remeber most about him was his smile, and playful and warm spirit. I was just looking through our senior class yearbook and saw a funny picture of Mike (he was always making somebody laugh) and I wondered how he was doing. My heart was truly saddened when I heard of his passing. Look to God for comfort during this most difficult time and know that the joy of the Lord is your strength. I pray peace and blessings over you and especially his precious baby boy. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We will truly miss Mike he was a wonderful young man and I have written a small poem to share with you. The Poem is entitled "Mike"
A cold winter day came and left and took you to Heaven while we slept.
Too soon for most of us to understand why the lost of such a kind and gentle young man.
God has a plan for us all and when he comes we accept the call.
Your smile will light the way for us to see you again someday.
When we meet you again it will be a better place and still not the end.
Your life was full of love and joy and you could not leave us until you gave us a beautiful boy.

Although, I never knew Michael, I feel a connection and sympathy for all of the family and freinds that knew this young Gentleman and Father. It is important at this time to keep your friends and family close and to keep GOD close to you too. GOD is the ultimate healer and comforter. He is always with you.
Mike was a WONDERFUL person who ALWAYS had a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. You could see how he truley loved Ashley and Riley with all of his heart.

I can remember all the memories that we shared growing up and all the love he had for his family. Im so thankful that I got to spend his Bday with him this year. I am so sorry for your lost. There are no words that can make it all go away and make things better, but God has promised us a final resting place where there are no worries, Steve is in the Lords hands now, and those are the best hands you can be in, I knew of Steve he was in the same group that I use to hang around with. I havent seen him in quit a few years but he always seem to me to be a really wonderful person full of life and someone you could count on. It saddens me that he wont be here to watch his child grow, but you can bet that little boy will have an amazing angel by his side to guide him all through his life.
