Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

Although I did not know Colleen personally. She was a great friend to me on the candles site. She had such a caring heart for humans and animals alike. I will miss her.

I was fortunate enough to "meet" Colleen on the Candles for our Care forum and was touched by the kindness and caring she expressed to all who was suffering a loss. May her family know how very special she was to so many people. May you find comfort and peace with her passing.

For Our Dear Friend, Colleen;

Though we only knew each other through "Candles for Our Care" forum on 'Animal Attraction' website, Colleen was much loved for all of the kindness, thoughts and prayers she would give to every one in their time of need, including me. Her family including her "furbabies" were truly Blessed to have her in their lives. God Bless you, Colleen, you are missed...
Your friend,
Diane

For Colleen,
who offered so much comfort to others when they were hurting. I only knew her through her posts to the "Candles For Our Care" forum and I wish I could have met her in this life. I am sure she was as wonderful as the comforting words she wrote to people she had never met when they lost their animal companions. God bless you Colleen and thank you.

My deepest condolences to the family. Colleen was a dear friend to me and after being out of touch with her for years, I'm so glad we got back in touch a few months ago. Colleen loved me unconditionally and always had kind words to say. She was the one person I knew without a doubt that I could count on especially when I was a teenage mother. I remember when we made our Good Morning Virginia debut in 1985. She always reminded me of how strong I am. Especially today, I need that strength. I'm so glad I had the pleasure of having her in my life.
